Thank you 2021 for everything you’ve done!

And as this book comes to its final chapter,

I think of all the lovely times, filled with fun and laughter.

I could not possibly wish for a more rewarding year,

It’s been a constant struggle, but the end of Covid is very near.

I value all the hardships and challenges that have come my way,

For without them I would not be where I am today.

I appreciate the luck I’ve had and my own persistence,

My goals are getting closer, I see there’s less resistance.

Who knows what 2022 will bring about?

I’m sure good things, I have no doubt!

For as long as I have health and my love is by my side,

I could not ask for more than my future bride.

I do however need to leave with an important note,

Not all of us have been blessed, nor are we all on the same boat.

There are still many with no sense of purpose or direction,

So we must show them care as well as deep affection.

If we do, I promisse that we’ll build a better world for future generations,

We must try to give them hope and meet their expectations.
